Udupi: District level Cub-Bulbul Utsav inaugurated

Udupi, Nov 9: District level Cub-Bulbul Utsav 2016-17 was inaugurated at Trinity Central School, Perampalli on Tuesday November 8. The programme was inaugurated by the principal of the school Anil D’Costa, jointly organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides district association, Kadyali, local association, Kallianpur and Trinity Central School Perampalli.

Anil D’Costa in his addressal at the programme said, "Nowadays children are very lucky in having such programmes and are enjoying their camps in their young age." He wished the children all the best for their future.

The guests also spoke from time to time during the programme.

Rajalakshmi Shetty, district commissioner, Rajgopalacharya, Kalmady Shekhar Poojary, district secretary, Suman Shekhar, Dayanand Shetty and others were present at the Utsav.

More than 200 students from 12 different schools participated in the two day camp. Nearly 40 teachers were present to receive training.

Students enjoyed and showcased their skills through swinging, crossing wheel, jumping, climbing tree, ladder, crossing Monkey Bridge and others. Cultural programmes were also arranged for the participants.

Sushma Suvarna welcomed the gathering. Deepthi Bhat compered the Utsav.
