Mangaluru, Nov 9: 'Two Drops Ocean', a unique initiative by the newly wed couple, Valerian Sequeira and Pallabi Chakraborty, was inaugurated by Leena Fernandes, former principal of St Aloysius evening college, here at CODP on November 8.
Leena Fernandes in her inaugural address said, "Khalil Gibran, in his book, 'prophet', says 'you were born together, and together you shall be forevermore. You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days in the memory of God'. That is what I wish this beautiful couple. We are together but there should be spaces. In a way that it compliments each other."
"Two drops of ocean is an initiative that is the need of the hour at this juncture. There should be spaces, whims and dances. Marriage is meant to make two people live together but yet not to be together. Longing for one another is okay but you need space. Sometimes one of the partners is on space and the other is on cloud nine all the time. So two drops of ocean would help people to understand that space is necessary." she added.
"At the end of Tuticorin, the beach has two colors of sand, white and red. The two different colors of sand together cannot be separated. That is what marriage is. Each has the identity of of his or her own and that identity has to be maintained. If not the drop will be no more. I wish this lovely couple will remain lovely," she wished.
Managing director of Daijiworld Publications Pvt Ltd, Hemacharya said, "I congratulate the new couple. Everyday we find new websites but this website is very unique.
