Udupi: Woman ends life by jumping into well

Udupi, Nov 10: The body of a women was found from a well in the town. It is suspected that she ended her life out of frustration.

The deceased has been identified as Sumalata Naik (19), niece of Laxman Naik from Baje Melangady at Kukehalli village of the taluk. She had gone missing since she
ventured out of home on Sunday afternoon. Even though the family members had searched for her, she could not be found.

On Wednesday November 9, her body was found lying in the well of a neighbour. No specific reason in support of the decision to commit suicide could be ascertained. A
case about this suicide was registered at Hiriyadka police station.
