Anil Kumar Becomes the First in the Country to Lay his Hands on the New Currency Note of Rs. 2000!


Lucknow, Nov 10: Post the ban of Rupee 500 and 1000 notes in the country from the midnight of 8th November, banks around the country have begun to distribute the new currency notes. With banks having opened on the 10th, a long queue of citizens wishing to exchange their old notes is viewed all around the nation.
 
Uttar Pradesh became the very first state to distribute the notesto the public. ICICI bank of the Lucknow branch handed over the very first Rupee 2000 note to one, Anil Kumar. Being the first person to have received the new currency, Anil’s image has been going viral on social sites.
 
 
Stating that the new currency resembles the Dollar note in appearance, Anil was more than happy to pose for the shutter bugs.
