Beltangady: Bike rider killed in accident near Navoor

Beltangady, Nov 14: Rider of a motor bike lost his life after his vehicle got involved with an accident with another motor bike near Navoor in the taluk on Sunday November 13. The deceased has been identified as Munaf (24), son of late Abubakker from Nirumbi, Navoor near Indabettu.

Munaf was involved with trade of broilers and chicken. He was moving towards his home in his two-wheeler from Ujire after delivering the chicken to a customer, when the said accident occurred. While Munaf died on the spot and was declared brought dead by doctors at the hospital, rider of the other motor bike, identified as Narayana, suffered grave injuries.

Munaf, who was the breadwinner of his family comprising of three sisters who are yet to be married, was loved by his close ones. His sudden death has cast pall of gloom on his family circles.

Local police have registered a case and taken up investigation.
