Kundapur: Police find illegal transportation of beef, arrest two

Kundapur, Nov 14: Acting on reliable information, policemen from here found out about illegal beef transportation on the night of Saturday November 12 and arrested two persons.

Two persons, identified as Gopal Kageri and Kishan Ambedkar Nagara Voderahobli, were arrested. The two have been accused of illegally transporting beef in a motor bike near Koteshwar-Halady Junction near here without permission.

In addition to 20 kg of raw beef, pelt, skull,  and legs of  a cow were recovered from their possession. A case stands registered against the accused, and investigation has been taken up.
