BJP workers protest against Kejriwal

New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS): The Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday staged a protest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal outside the secretariat for his "support towards the black money holders".

The protesting BJP workers were detained by the police as they raised slogans against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor.

The protest came a day after Kejriwal questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes.

He also attacked Modi over the currency spike, saying it caused misery to the common man.

Kejriwal called the November 8 demonetisation a poorly planned exercise. He asked the government to stop being adamant and withdraw it immediately.
