Censor Board very kind with 'Dear Zindagi': Alia Bhatt

Mumbai, Nov 16 (PTI): Her last release "Udta Punjab" had faced serious issues with the Censor Board, but actress Alia Bhatt is happy that her upcoming "Dear Zindagi" has been cleared without any cuts. There were reports that the Gauri Shinde-directed film got U/A certificate with no cuts from the board.

When asked about it, Alia told reporters last night, "I am very excited. Censor board has been very kind, very generous, very sweet with their words. My film is getting released and I just want to see the audiences reaction." The 23-year-old actress was speaking at the launch of Twinkle Khanna's book "The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad".

Alia was all praise for Twinkle's sense of humour. "Her sense of humour is at some other level. You can watch Koffee with Karan to know that. I am a huge admirer of the human being that Twinkle is. I am honoured to be here at her book launch," she said.

On the film front, the actress is geared for her next release "Dear Zindagi" scheduled to release on November 25. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Angad Bedi, Kunal Kapoor among others.
