Mangaluru: Hit by tanker, pedestrian woman dies

Mangaluru, Nov 18: A woman lost her life after she was hit by a tanker carrying drinking water. The incident occurred on Thursday November 17.

The victim, identified as Yamuna (66) was standing by the roadside for crossing the road when the water tanker which was plying between Kotekar and Thokkottu hit her. Yamuna sustained serious head injuries and was admitted into a hospital. However, she did not respond to treatments and died at the hospital.
