Udupi, Jan 12:
Rajangana in Krishna Math will play host to a mass convention of Madhwa yathis and Krishna devotees from all over Karnataka on Sunday January 13 at 4 pm, informed Pejawar  Vishvehsteertha Sripada Swamiji of Pejawar Math.

Furnishing this information to press persons here, he added that as many as 15 to 20 Madhwa Swamiji are expected to participate in this convention.

Moreover he also said that the Puttige seer had sought a separate draft of the Constitution from each of the seven Maths describing their stand on “videsh yatra” and “vimana yana.” All the Maths have sent a separate copy of the draft stating their opinion on the issue.

According to the Pejawar Swamiji he is willing to drop the “vimana yana” if the Putthige Swamiji agrees to the majority opinion of the Astha Math heads on the issue. He expressed the hope that the controversy will be solved  amicably thereby paving the way for the smooth running of the paryaya.

With regard to the court case, the Pejawar Swamiji opined that he is least concerned about the court affairs and he wished that the issue would be solved within the four walls of the Astha Maths itself.

Swamijis of Palimaru, Sodhe, Kaniyur and Krishnapur Math were also present at the meet.
