Panaji, Nov 23: Ahead of Goa Legislative Assembly polls, Aam Admi Party today unveiled four more candidates. With this latest announcement, total number of candidates announced by AAP touched 25 in the 40 constituency legislative assemblies.
The list which was announced today includes names of renowned anti-Mopa airport activists Siddharth Karapurkar who will be contesting in Navelim constituency which is currently represented by BJP backed independent candidate Avertano Furtado.
Former Quepem municipal council chairperson Manuel Colaco will contest on AAP ticket from Quepem constituency which is currently represented by Congress legislator Chandrakant Kavlekar.
Journalist-turned-politician Pradeep Padgaonkar will be contesting from Saligao constituency on AAP which had elected BJP candidate and current tourism minister Dilip Parulekar during 2012 elections.
Social activist Prakash Naik will contest from Cumbharjua constituency which is currently represented by Congress’ Pandurang Madkaikar.
AAP has announced that it will be contesting on all the 40 seats for Goa Legislative Assembly Election.
