John Legend plays cool about Teigen''s wardrobe malfunction

Los Angeles, Nov 24 (IANS): Singer John Legend has blamed red carpet photographers for exposing his wife and model Chrissy Teigen‘s wardrobe malfunction.

The Grammy Award-winning singer told news magazine Extra on Tuesday that while he and his wife were extra careful with the very revealing Yousef Akbar gown she sported to the 2016 American Music Awards, the photographer happened to catch a shot of her genitalia, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"Honestly, we were worried there might be that moment, so we checked it. We were watching her walk. I was like, 'It looks good. Looks like all is well'. But obviously, if a photographer is resourceful enough they can find that one moment ... the photographer had to get the exact perfect angle," Legend said.

The "All of me" singer said that he was enamoured with the way the 30-year-old model - who gave birth to the couple's first child Luna Simone in April - looked in the designer gown.

"I love the dress and I thought it was great," he said.

Legend was nonchalant about his spouse's exposure.

He said: "If people are enticed or excited by that, that's their thing. It's just a moment in time that was captured on film."
