Mangaluru, Nov 25: Father Muller Medical College Hospital and Yenepoya University in association with Macula Healthcare and CAE Healthcare will organise India's first international conference on healthcare simulation in India, HPSN India 2016 on December 3 and 4 announced Dr Rithesh Joseph D'Cunha, in-charge of Father Muller Medical College Simulation Centre.

Addressing media persons in the city he said that the conference will be inaugurated by the minister of medical education Dr Sharan Prakash Patil on December 3 at 10 am and the valedictory programme will be held at Yenepoya University on December 4 at 10.30 am which will be graced by director of medical education Dr Sacchidanand. "300 participants from all over India who are doctors and resource faculty will attend the conference."

Speaking on the occasion, the CEO (growth and stratergy) of Macula Healthcare Tapabrata Bhattacharya said that a pre-conference workshop will also be held on December 2 in preparation of the conference. "Resource persons participating in the conference will be from Malaysia, Nepal, UK and Netherlands. A disaster drill having humans replaced by manikins will also be held on December 3 at 3 pm which will be half an hour's duration," he said.

Yenepoya University simulation centre in-charge, Dr Rashmi Jain, customer support representative (South East Asia) of CAE healthcare were among those present.
