Bengaluru: Woman gang-raped, three held

Bengaluru, Nov 26: In an incident which occurred within the limits of Bannerghatta police station here, three youngsters raped a woman. The incident came into the open with some delay.

The police came to know that three people had gang-raped the woman in an acacia plantation at Hullahalli near Bannerghatta. The woman is being treated at a private hospital here now.

The accused, Vinod (20), Mani (19), and Raju (21) stand arrested. They have been remanded to judicial custody for two weeks. All of them are from Tamil Nadu, and were working as building painting workers here, it is gathered. They were staying at Weavers Colony near Bannerghatta, it is gathered.
