New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS): The Rajya Sabha was on Tuesday adjourned till noon after an opposition uproar over the cash crunch in the country that has been caused by demonetisation.

As members assembled for the day, BSP leader Mayawati demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi address the demonetisation issue.

Amid the ruckus and loud protests, the house was adjourned till 12 p.m.
