PM Modi asks BJP MPs and MLAs to submit details of bank transactions to Amit Shah

New Delhi, Nov 29 (Agencies) : In a significant move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked BJP MPs and MLAs to submit details of their bank account transactions between November 8 and December 31. The ministers have been asked to submit the details to party president Amit Shah by January 1.

Reacting to this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and said that details of transactions made before six months of the announcement should also be revealed. Kejriwal, questioning the move, said account details of “PM Modi’s friends like Adani, Ambani and Paytm” should also be obtained.

The prime minister had announced demonetisation policy on November 8 under which old Rs 500 and 1,000 currency notes were made invalid. The government issued new currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 and the people were given a window of 50 days till December 30 to exchange their old currency notes for new.

The decision, as per the government, has been taken to tackle the problem of hoarding black money in the form of cash and circulation of counterfiet currency. However, the government is also facing sharp criticism from opposition parties because of the “lack of planning” and “poor implementation” of the policy.

Further details are awaited

As far as funding from und entities is concerned, BJP, followed by the Congress, are the highest gainers.

We don't know who funds BJP, Congress, but public has to go through demonetisation.

During election each Nominee files affidavit declaring his/her assets to the autonomous Election commision of India. To date no one knows how the varification process is done.

Election after elections each winning candidates assets doubles while nation go poor.

It comes as no surprise that BJP has the highest amount of income from undisclosed sources, given the party’s immense amount of popularity. But judging from the amounts received by both the Congress and BJP, is it time to reassess whether this income too should be held completely accountable?

Now, I would only request Modi Ji to allow all the common citizens of the country to submit their Income Tax Returns to their Head Of The Family (maybe the Dad, Mom or the Grandfather, Grandmother or themselves) so that we can quickly scrutinise our own transactions and be done with it.
Disclaimer: I have personally d Modi Ji as the most honest Prime Minister of the Universe, including any parallel universes that may exist, just a few minutes back. I am not even going to wait for UNESCO on this one
