Mangalore, Jan 19: Karnataka Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Dakshina Kannada Telecom District on payment of telephone bills. Fiftyfour branches of the bank in DK and Udupi districts will accept payment of telephone bills in cash, local cheques and DD, according to a release.
The pact between the bank and telecom district will facilitate payment of telephone bills due on or before the ‘pay by date’ from all individuals, corporates etc. Bills of STD/ISD, PTS (Public Telephone Service booths, so notified) are not accepted. All clearing instruments tendered/accepted by the branch shall be at least two working days in advance of ‘pay by date’ mentioned in the bill.
