Army apprehends Pakistani national on LoC


Jammu, Dec 5 (IANS): A Pakistani national was apprehended on Monday by Indian troops after he crossed the Line of Control (LoC) into Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, the state police said.

"The 40-year-old intruder was seen moving suspiciously on the Indian side of the LoC when he was engaged by the Indian troops. He suffered minor injuries and was given first aid."

The man has been handed over to the local police.

"Further details will emerge once he is interrogated by police and intelligence agencies," a police official said.
