New Delhi, Dec 11 (TOI) : The season of cricket weddings in NCR continued this weekend. After Yuvraj Singh, it Ishant Sharma's turn as the fast bowler got married to basketball player Pratima Singh at a farmhouse in Gurgaon on Friday night. The merger of the two sporting worlds saw the who-is-who of Indian sports attend the grand function. Several of Ishant's cricketer friends from his under-19 and Ranji days attended as well. "This is a sort of reunion for Delhi cricket," said former Indian cricketer Vijay Dahiya.

MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh both arrived late in the night, albeit only for a short while. Both the cricketers generated some frenzy among the wedding guests with many turning into selfie-seekers. Yuvraj, in his first public appearance as a married man, came without his wife Hazel. "She was tired after the week-long wedding celebrations," he was heard telling Ishant and Pratima. Even captain cool Dhoni arrived solo in a whirlwind visit of sorts, as he spent 5 minutes with the couple and returned.
