Abu Dhabi: Puttur Panduranga Nayak Enchants Music Lovers

Abu Dhabi, Jan 22: A musical evening was organised by Karnataka Sangha Abu Dhabi here on Sunday January 20.

Puttur Panduranga Nayak performed on the occasion. He was accompanied by M Vishwanath Shenoy of Uppinangady on harmonium and Faisal on tabla.

Nayak sang a good number of Dasakeertane like 'Govinda Nama' and 'Bhaagyada Lakshmi,' Basava Vachana and Bhavageete like ‘Ede Tumbi’ and ‘Sri Gandha Naanaagi.’

The audience enjoyed a feast of various Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi and Tulu songs by Nayak.

President of the Sangha Sarvothama Shetty felicitated Nayak and S Ananth welcomed the gathering.
