Mumbai, Dec 26: Babu Shiva Poojary, editor of 'Guruthu' monthly magazine, researcher and author, released 'Nireekshe', a book written by Shimanthooru Chandrahasa and 'Abhimatha', written by Sharada Anchan. He also presided over the programme held at Pejavar math auditorium Santacruz east for the purpose on Saturday evening, December 24.

Poojashree C Suvarna, Anurag A Anchan, Dr G V Kulkarni, Shimantoor Uday Shetty, Narayana Bangera Dombivli, Dr Vishwanath Karnad, Dr Karunaker Bangera, Dr Raviraj Suvarna, Dr Ishwar K Alevoor, Harish G Poojary, Jayker D Poojary, Somnath Karkera, Mahesh Karkala, Ramesh Shivapura, Nagaraj Gurupura, V S Shanbhog, Umesh Shetty, Suresh S Salian, Praveen Shetty Borivli, Prabhakar Amin, Rajith Suvarna, Ashok S Suvarna, Navin Ameen and others present on the occasion, congratulated the book writers.

Saraswathi Chandrahasa Suvarna and author Sharada A Anchan lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion. Anand V Anchan, Saraswathi C Suvarna, Hema Haridas, Lalitha Ravi Kotian, Veena D Poojary, S Darsha, Saroja Suvarna and Krishnaraj Suvarna presented flowers to the guests and felicitated them. Sharada A Anchan sang a prayer song. Navin Karkera welcomed everyone, introduced the guests, compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
