Beltangady: Tanker Turns Turtle Leaving One Dead

Beltangady, Feb 3: Cleaner of a Mangalore-bound tanker was killed in an accident that occurred in the wee hours of Saturday February 2 on Charmadi Ghat near here.

According to the sources the accident occurred when the tanker driver, identified as Prakash, lost control over the tanker that subsequently fell onto a nearby field. The cleaner died on the spot and the driver has been hospitalized.

The deceased has been identified as Sulemar (22), resident of Hanagal in Havery district.
