Mangalore, Feb 3: “Physiotherapy is an undisciplined part of health care” said M Maheshwar Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada (DK), during the inauguration of ‘Physio Treasure Hunt – ‘08’ on Sunday, February 3, which was held at the commencement of ‘Physio Week – ‘08’ organized by Dakshina Kannada Physiotherapy Teachers’ Association.
The event was presided over by A Sadanand Shetty, chairman of Sri Devi Educational Trust. Nidhish Shetty, vice chairman of Sri Devi Educational Trust, Dr Padma Kumar, principal of Sri Devi College of Physiotherapy, Dr Muralidhar, vice principal, were the guests of honour present at the occasion.
The ‘Treasure Hunt’ was attended by over 50 teams under DK Physiotherapy Teachers’ Association, while Vikas College of Physiotherapy made significant mark in this contest. ‘Treasure Hunt’ proved to be an exciting and fruitful day for all the participants as well as the spectators present.
