Mangalore Feb 4: 'Yuva Chaitanya Samavesha' will be organized jointly by Dakshina Kannada district youth Congress Committee (DKDYCC) and Puttur block youth congress committee on Tuesday February 5 at Kille Maidan of court road in Puttur, informed Bondala Jagannatha Shetty, president of DKDYCC at a press conference here on Tuesday February 5.

The inaugural ceremony of the convention will follow a procession to be taken out from Aruna theatre. D K Shiva Kumar, former MLA will inaugurate the convention. Tribute will be paid to late Blasius D'Souza on the occasion, he added.

Ashok Tanwar, president of all-India youth Congress, Krishna Bayre Gowda, state president of youth Congress, U T Khader, former MLA of Ullal, Ramanath Rai, former MLA and others will be present on the occasion. Party workers from other political parties like BJP and others will join Congress on the occasion. The event is expected to be attended by 10,000-odd workers, he said.

The convention will elaborate on the failure of BJP and the coalition government of BJP and JD(S) while detailing the developmental works of the UPA and Congress. The convention will also be an asnwer to the detractors of Congress like MP Sadanand Gowda, he said.

Youth Congress leaders T K Sudhir, A C Vinay Raj, Iqbal, Arun K and others were present.
