Udupi: Bike hits electric pole - youth dies on spot

Udupi, Jan 11: One person lost his life on the spot after his motorbike went out of control and hit a roadside electric pole, late on Monday evening, January 9.

The deceased has been identifed as Jayanth (26), son of Madhava Devadiga from Karamballi Janata Colony. It is gathered that Jayanth lost control of his two-wheeler after another motorbike nudged his vehicle.

The deceased was working as a writer for a local firm named G K Constructions, it is learnt. A case about the accident was filed at Manipal police station.
