Mangaluru: Alva's Moodbidri wins state level T-20 cricket tournament

Mangaluru, Jan 12: Alva's cricket team won the state level T-20 Balehonnur KSA Cup Cricket Tournament held at Belehonnur.

It defeated Bengaluru's Sunil eleven team in the finals and won the cup for the fourth time.

In the match held in two innings, Alva's team which batted first after winning the toss scored 178 runs in 20 overs. Sunil team in reply to it, scored 140 runs. Alva's team scored 164 runs and gave a target of 203 runs for Sunil team in the second innings. Sunil team could score 160 runs in it.

Rakshit and K S Devayya from Alva's team were declared best batsman and best bowler respectively.
