Gunmen kill Afghan official

Kabul, Jan 16 (IANS): Unknown gunmen shot dead a government official in Baghlan province of Afghanistan on Monday, police said.

The victim was identified as Mohammad Safa Sanae, head of the Development Department, in Pul-e-Khumri city, Xinhua news agency reported.
