Margao: Two Partially Burnt Bodies Found, Murder Suspected

Margao, Feb 7: Two unidentified partially burnt dead bodies of a male and a female were found at an isolated place of  Nandran-Mollem, 55 Km from here, on Wednesday February 6.

According to the police, it was a truck driver who first saw the dead bodies in the wee hours and informed the police. Later the Panchanama was done.

The police suspect that they were first killed and then burnt. The dead body of the girl was burning along the road side in the verdant forest at Mollem when the truck driver saw it and stopped to check. He then informed police.

The male dead body was found 20 meters away from female body, lying in a pool of blood and partially burnt.

DYSP Mahesh Gaonkar, Ponda police inspector Manjunath Desai and Kullem police inspector Manoj Mhardolakar rushed to the site to collect evidences.

A case of murder has been registered in this regard.
