Puttur, Jan 23: In an incident which happened at Darbe here on Sunday January 22, a youth who was riding a two-wheelrr was killed after a lorry hit his vehicle.
Safwan (30), son of Abdurrazack from Chikkamudnur village in the taluk lost his life in the accident. Safwan was riding his vehicle on the road that passes through Darbe when a lorry hit his vehicle hard. Safwan was thrown onto the road. He was rushed to the government hospital here with serious injuries. Thereafter, in view of the seriousness of his injuries, he was taken to Mangaluru and admitted into a hospital there. However, he breathed his last the same night without responding to treatment.
A case relating to the accident was filed by traffic police station here. Investigation has been undertaken.
