Dubai: Art of Living to Organize Free Seminar on Breast Cancer

Dubai, Feb 11: Art of Living Dubai in association with Dr Sujaya Rajasekhar, a lady surgeon working in Dubai will organize a free medical seminar for ladies on the topic detection of breast cancer and its treatment.

Seminar will be held on Friday February 15 at 6 pm (reporting time 5.45 pm) at the Art of Living Dubai Center.

Dr Sujaya will be speak on various breast diseases, proper techniques of breast self examination and early detection of breast cancer. Dr Sujaya has more than 15 years of experience since her post graduation in general surgery in 1992. She has conducted many seminars and classes on early detection of breast cancer in Dubai. She has also given talks on radio to help create awareness among women about breast cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in UAE and is the second most leading cause of death among women world over. It is said that 1 in every 8 women suffers from breast cancer. If detected in the early stage it can be cured completely and without much disfigurement.
