Mysuru: Two cops killed in KSRTC-police jeep collision

Mysuru, Jan 28: Two policemen were killed in a collision between a KSRTC bus and a police jeep at Chikkalli here on Saturday January 28.

The deceased has been identified as inspector Mahesh Kumar of the district crime department and police constable Laxman who was driving the jeep.

Sources said that the policemen were driving to Suttur Jatra Mahatsova near Chikkahalli when a KSRTC bus plying from Narasimhapura rammed into their jeep.

While Laxman died on the spot, Mahesh who suffered grievous injuries breathed his last while being taken to hospital.
