Udupi: Krishna's resignation an internal issue, party will handle - Oscar

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Feb 1: Rajya Sabha member, Oscar Fernandes, said that resignation of former chief minister of Karnataka, S M Krishna, from the party happens to be an internal matter. He added that the matter would be discussed and settled within the party.

Oscar gave this response when approached by media persons seeking his reaction to the veteran leaders's decision to resign from the party. Oscar had taken part in the meeting organized as part of the seventh birth centenary celebrations of Sri Madhwacharya, which is on at Rajangan of Srikrishna Math here.

"We will correct ourselves if anything has gone wrong, if Janardhana Poojary shows us the way. Party leaders are working to convince Krishna to withdraw his decision. I do not have any information about the disgruntlement of veteran party leader and former union minister, Jaffer Sharief," he stated.
