Twenty Years of "togetherness" as a small Community of Mangalore in Muscat and performing variety of Social and Cultural activities need all the praise and appreciation. Sixty years ago when we started a small group of friends and families in that part of the Persian Gulf was easy because it was a small group to work with. When the community grows with affluence and diversity, there are obviously greater responsibilities to shoulder and greater minds to communicate. Muscat has always been a most moderate Nation with more educated natives who had much closer contact with India than many others. While in Saudi Arabia we have always maintained the highest regard for the Omanis who have been a hard working and loyal group and were more trustworthy and friendly. Hundreds of Omani workforce in Saudi Arabia have given us some of the most exemplary work discipline while they were delegated with some of the sensitive responsibilities at many Drilling Sites, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Airports as well as Seaports. We have always remained grateful to the Omanis for their friendly dispositions and operational services.

All said and done, its nice to see that MCCP are embarking upon a dialog called "Charitra" where they are celebrating their Silver Jubiliee with the presence of His Lordship Bishop Aloysius and also Mr. J. R. Lobo, the MLA and many others. Congratulations for all the good work and united work, and may God bless you all.
