Udupi: 63-year-old Shoukath Hussain Assadi passes away

Udupi, Feb 13: Prominent member of Udupi Muslim community, Shoukath Hussain Assadi (63) passed away on Monday February 13 morning due to severe cardiac attack.

Assadi was the general secretary of Hashimi Masjid, Udupi.

He was a life member of Muslim Welfare association and associate member of Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Udupi Unit.

He is survived by three daughters and wife.

Jamate-e Islami Hind, Udupi unit president Abdul Aziz, Udupi Welfare Association president K Abdul Gafoor and Udupi Hashimi Masjid management committee and Jamate expressed their shock and extended their condolence on the sudden demise of a prominent community member.
