Panaji, Feb 17: The counting for all the 40 assembly constituencies of Goa legislative assembly will over by two o'clock in the afternoon on March 11, a senior official said.
The election for the assembly constituencies was held on February 4 which registered around 82 per cent of polling.
“The counting will begin at 8 am in the morning, and the first result would be out by ten o clock. After that the results will start getting announced,” Chief Electoral Officer Kunal said.
Both the district collectors have made elaborate arrangement to conduct the counting while police will be geared up to have crowd control outside the counting centres.
The counting would be held in two places – Margao and Panaji.
“All the results would be announced by 2 o'clock. It will take two to three hours for each constituency to count the votes including postal ballots,” Kunal said.
The election officials have calculated that entire counting process will take six hours from the starting.
