Fujairah, Feb 25: GMC Hospital Fujairah in association with Red Crescent Society and ministry of health, UAE organized a conference on 'Updates in Management of Respiratory Diseases' on Saturday February 23 at Al Diar Siji Hotel in Fujaira. Over 200 doctors and healthcare professionals from all over UAE attended the conference.
Dr Salem Rashid Al Zahmi, director, ministry of health, Fujairah Medical District inaugurated the conference. He lauded the efforts of GMC Hospital for organizing such conferences. He later presented mementos to the speakers. Suhail Al Qadi, director, Red Crescent Society, Fujairah also attended the function and presented appreciation mementos to various companies who sponsored the event.

Delegates from ministry hospitals, private hospitals and clinics from all over the country participated in the conference. The conference secretariat, Gulf Medical College announced that they are planning to organize a joint conference with Cairo University in March and an international conference on nursing in May.
