Beltangady: 'Terrorism in All Forms should be Condemned'

Beltangady, Mar 3: 'Religion teaches people how to live in peace, harmony and with tolerance,' informed K P Sucharita Shetty, president of DK zilla panchayat. He was addressing a gathering of an 'All Religions Meet' organized as part of the concluding ceremony of the annual Kajuru Urus here on Sunday, March 2.
 
Former state minister for transport B Ramanath Rai declared, "Religious meets should enhance understanding among people, which is the need of the hour.'  

The supporters of terrorism, whoever they are, must be strongly condemned, advised M S M Abdul Rasheed Zaini Kamil Sakhafi, state president of SSF.
 
President of Muslim Central Committee K S Mohammad Masood clarified that, 'No madarasa or mosque allows terrorism to get strengthened at its premises. Pressure from certain leaders to close down madarasas should be condemned,' he added.

Ashraf Ali Kunhi, media representative was felicitated on the occasion.
  
Former MLA Prabhakar Bangera, taluk panchayat president Tulsi Harabe, ZP member E Sunder Gowda, taluk panchayat member Valambra Narayana Gowda and others were present on the occasion. Assayid K S Atakoya Tangal Kumbol graced the occasion.
 
Yusuf Sharif, president of reception committee of the annual Urus programme welcomed the gathering. Kasim Malligemane proposed the vote of thanks while Mohammad Iqbal Kajuru, journalist compered the concluding ceremony.
