Mangaluru: Robbery in Kadri- Four suspects arrested

Mangaluru, Mar 10: CCB police and Mangaluru East station police on Friday March 10, in a joint operation, arrested four persons accused of robbery incident in Kadri last week.

Tausif alias Munna alias Shailu(25), son of Ibrahim, from Perdoor, Udupi, Mohammed Abdul Fayan(19), son of K M Abbas, from Badriya Nagar, Manjanady, Abdul Safwan(22), son of Abdul Gafoor, from Dharmanagar, Ullal and Mohammed Arif (31), son of Abdulla, from Juma Masjid, Bajal Padpu, are the persons arrested.
Lancy Cyril Lobo, Kulshekar resident was the victim.

Lancy Cyril Lobo had filled petrol in his two wheeler at KPT petrol pump on March 4 at about 9.30 pm and parked his vehicle beside the road after riding a little away from the spot. At that time, five people who arrived in an Alto car assaulted him and snatched his mobile and cash. A case in this connection was registered in Mangaluru east police station.

Mangaluru CCB police who received information that the accused were at Natekal near Deralakatte took them into custody. They were later handed over to Mangaluru east police station for further action. The accused are said to be involved in several criminal cases in the past.

Tausif alias Munna alias Shailu has a case of attempted murder in 2013 in Mangaluru North police station limits. He was released on bail about fifteen days ago.

Mohammed Abdul Fayan has cases of attempted murders each in Mangaluru north police station and Ullal police station limits besides setting fire to a shop at Konaje police station limits.

Abdul Safwan has a case of Ganja peddling in Punjalkatte police station.

Mohammed Arif has three cases of two wheeler thefts in Mangaluru South, Mangaluru North and Barke police station limits.

    Police, Please encounter them immediately otherwise they come out on bail and once again do the theft and murder. They are the menace to the peace loving society hence don't give them another opportunity for the robbery and murder.

    We are seeing this ISIS mentality due to intolerance and thuggery. We will all be victims of this. Where are their parents and are they anti-nationals

    When they have such an intelligent mind that works so well to do these things, I do not understand why not use it in right way of earning and living instead of theft and murder. There are many options to work and earn money with or without qualification. Look at the history of 19 year old Fayan....strange!

    What a justice system we have in India? Whenever a criminal is caught for robbery, loot, kidnap, attempted murder, murder etc... the news is he is having so and so cases. How these criminal are roaming free. Yeh andha kanoon nahin to kya hai?
