While the news is welcome, there is no need to rejoice thinking that Mangaloreans will have one more venue for weddings. The rates are going to be non-affordable for even the richer class.
Also it is a known fact that such places will be offered at lower rates in the begining and the rates will go up as demand increases.

Typical example is St. Aloysius College swimming pool. There have been three upward revisions in last three months!!! This is in spite of negligible demand.

Marvellous architecture, I believe it was the idea of the previous Director Fr Baptist Menezes. He will be very pleased to see that it has taken shape. Best planned facility in Mangalore city specially to have such a huge parking space to accommodate 700 vehicles. Great job, hearty congratulations to Father Mullers management.

In Mangaluru, despite having large event centres like and other smaller halls at various locations, people find it difficult to bag a venue for a function during peak season. For an upcoming wedding, anniversary or any other event, one has to reserve a year in-advance. Under such circumstances, Father Muller Convention centre is a perfect solution.

I congratulate the creators of such a magnificent building that can house not one but three different gathering at a time. My only concern is the parking space for the invitees. If no hurdle to this fact is ensured, I am sure the venue will be a more famous landmark in coming years.
