Mangaluru, Mar 26: MLA J R Lobo on Sunday March 26 inaugurated 'Sanskriti' apartments, the latest project by Land Traders Builders and Developers, at Mangaladevi here.

Addressing the gathering MLA J R Lobo said, "It feels good to see how Srinath Hebbar has progressed. Recently 'Maurishka Palace' of Land Trades Builders and Developers received enhanced rating of 'Mangalore 6 Stars' from CRISIL. There are a lot of builders in the city who provide such quality apartments and contribute towards the development of Mangaluru. We need to concentrate on the economic growth of the city by building such infrastructure.

"We have already allotted funds under the Smart City, ADB and AMRUTH scheme for the purpose of development, wherein over Rs 2,000 crore has been invested on infrastructure, roads and solid waste management, but this does not create employment. We need to utilize the infrastructure that we have and create jobs. At the same time, there is a need to develop medical, education and tourism sectors, and project this development to make Mangaluru an investor-friendly city.

"People should have positive attitude towards lending support to the investors and we should avoid opposing infrastructure and development in the city. We should stop opposing development projects and instead welcome and support the investors," Lobo said.

On the occasion, Land Trades and Builders celebrated birthday of MLA J R Lobo by cutting a cake. Lobo thanked Srinath Hebbar for this gesture.

Corporator Premananda Shetty said, "Land Trades is known for providing quality apartments. Three months ago, Land Trades launched a similar apartment complex at Emmekere. Even 'Sanskriti' apartments has turned out beautfiully and has all basic facilities for the buyers such as continuous water, power backup etc. Land Trades has a reputation of constructing projects within the given timeframe. I congratulate Land Trades Builders on dedicating this beautiful apartment complex to this city of Mangaluru."

CREDAI president Dr D B Mehta said, "Sanskriti is a word that has vast meanings, you need lots of pages to define the word. 'Sanskriti' denotes culture and tradition. Srinath has given such a beautiful name to the apartment. There are so many members in CREDAI who fail to deliver on time, but Land Trades is known for its speedy delivery of projects."

Architect Peter Mascarenhas, structural engineer Anand Bhat and project consultant Santhosh Shetty were felicitated on the occasion.

Manohar Prasad compered the programme. Invocation was by Anuradha.

Managing director Land Trades Srinath Hebbar welcomed the gathering. J S S Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
