Ajman: Gulf Medical College Sports Day from March 22

Ajman, Mar 13: The Sports Committee of the Gulf Medical College, Ajman will be organizing the 7th Annual GMC Sports & Cultural Festival 2008. The Draw of Lots among 12 Colleges for various tournaments was conducted on the 12th of March 2008. Dr. S. Bharathi Mohan, Chief of Medical Staff, GMCHRC drew the lots and wished all the participants a memorable event at GMCA. Students from twelve leading colleges and universities in the UAE shall compete for the top spots in various tournaments.

A weeklong Sports festival will be held at the Gulf Medical College, Ajman from the 22nd – 27th March 2008. The competition for various trophies will be held in Cricket, Futsal, Basketball (Boys), Basketball (Girls), Throw ball (Girls), Table Tennis (Boys), Table Tennis (Girls) and Tennis. The Cultural festival will be held on 5th April 2008 at Gulf Medical College, Ajman.  The Cultural Festival includes Group dance, Group song, Mad Ads and Skit/Drama.

A distinct improvement in the standards of the games is witnessed each year and we feel happy that a good healthy interaction takes place among the students from different colleges. All players exhibit high standards of sportsmanship.
