Morata proud to share in Real Madrid's legacy

Madrid, Apr 4 (IANS): Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata said he is proud of his place in the club where football legends have played, and where he joined at a young age and managed to climb to the first team.

Morata and other players were at the presentation of an interactive audio visitors guide on Monday to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, which was launched by Real Madrid in collaboration with Microsoft, reports Efe.

Last summer, Morata returned to Real Madrid after two seasons at Italian side Juventus.

Morata said he remembers joining the youth squad of the club, where he was lucky to share the same place where football legends have played.

Meanwhile, Brazilian midfielder Carlos Henrique Casemiro noted that since he joined Real Madrid, he has been playing in the Champions League, and took part in winning the 10th and 11th titles for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid's third goalkeeper Ruben Yañez also recalled the victory in the last edition of the Champions League, which coincided with his first season with the team.
