Mangaluru, Apr 7: Urwa police on Thursday April 6, arrested two persons relating to the assault on assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Urwa police station Aithappa.

Shamir Katipalla (27) and Niyaz Katipalla (20) are the persons arrested.

ASI Aithappa was assaulted on the morning of Wednesday, April 5. He is still taking treatment at a hospital in city for the head injuries sustained.

Shamir is an accused in a rape case on a medical student from a Deralakatte medical college. He had secured bail recently. He also faces several cases of murder, attempt to murder and assault on police in jail.

Niyaz too faces 8 cases in different police stations.

CCB police are investigating the case and have subjected both the accused into rigorous interrogations. Some police sources had said that the assault on ASI could have been a retaliation act against the lathi charge that took place on Popular Front Of India (PFI) members on Tuesday at city police commissioner’ s office.

ASI was assaulted by two persons in the early morning with iron rods while he was on duty.

    RSS does not kill like white peace loving community like they do in Palestine or Middle East.... White peace loving community people have killed women and children across the globe either through bullets or either through spreading epidemic..

    Which are country these community people are in they create problem, however these community people are peace loving people when they are in Majority (Most of Middle East) and Indians belonging to this community when go and settle in Middle East countries they behave as if they are very innocent and peace loving, however strict Law in India will get these community people to be peace loving community..

    Example: See the areas wherein these community people live, it so dirty and see the areas where Indians from this community who live in abroad- The difference in One Nation - One law

    Police have done a good job by arresting the attackers very promptly. they should be awarded for their quick action. Grill them properly and find out whats the intention of this assualt of PI. keep them in Jail and dont grant any bail.

    Now every pending case will come out with out any delay and will be proved against these culprits. Difficult for them to come out from the jail. They are deserved to be in Jail so that outsiders can breath peacefully.

    When you know the rowdy sheeter, trouble maker is arround, community leaders/ religious leaders should visit their house and convince them. According to me, if religious / community leaders cannot change their heart then there is no use of preaching / social work.

    Good people (of any religion) do not need service of religious or community leaders , but others require it, Good people live and let others live, you can recognize them by their deeds.

    Though i am not a supporter, I have never heard of a RSS, Sangha, Sene attack murderously assault policemen . This is the result of excessive pampering and giving them extra previlige and benefits. We see this happen everywhere, the world had acknowledged this and are taking precautionary measures.

    Even police officers involved in torturing the person whom they arrested (Qureshi) which resulted in protest, should also be punished severely and should be arrested, Govt has given the duty to police to help the public and serve the citizens, not to attack and torture the innocents on the behalf of corrupt group.. No sanghi will talk about this as they itself believe in violence ad terrorism.
