Udupi: ‘Yaksha Paksha’ Inaugurated at Rajangan

Udupi, Mar 15: ‘Yaksha Paksha,’ of Yakshagana troupe of Hosanagar Shri Ramachandrapur Math was inaugurated here on Friday March 14.

Shri Sugunendra Swamiji of Puttige Paryaya Math inaugurated the programme and said that there is no alternative for a complete art like yakshagana. One can experience history being enacted through yakshagana, he opined.

The programme will go now continued for 15 days and Canara Bank has sponsored this event.

Canara Bank assistant general manager M M Kudva and Ujire Ashok Bhat, head of Hosanagar Shri Ramachandrapur Math Yakshagana troupe were present on the occasion.
