Udupi: 24-year-old youth feared drowned while fishing at Padubidri

Udupi, Apr 9: A youth who was fishing in the sea off Nadipatna shore in Padubidri here on Sunday April 9 has been feared drowned.

The youth has been identified as Prajwal Shetty (24), a resident of Nadipatna.

It is learnt that while his family members were away attending a wedding function, Prajwal and his friend came to the beach for fishing.

While fishing, Prajwal got engulfed by the strong waves and was washed away.

Padubidri police arrived at the spot. Search for Prajwal is on.
