Mangalore, Mar 16: The activists of Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) staged protest, in front of office of Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada, here on Saturday March 15, opposing the intended 'Trishul Dikshe' (distribution of tridents) in Gadag district and condemning the DC's action on approval.

The protesters alleged that Sangh Parivar and Sri Rama Sene are working on their hidden agenda to cause communal disturbance in the district while the distribution of tridents serves as a part of hidden agenda in the disguise.

Earlier too the Sangh Parivar distributed tridents illegally at various places, in the absence of government approval and midst of criticism as well. The act of DC of Gadag district deserves condemnations, for allowing the distribution of tridents of Sangh Parivar.

KFD activists submitted a memorandum to the DC of Dakshina Kannada district, to forward it to the governor, urging him to take stringent actions against Sri Ram Sene and the DC.

Abdul Aziz, district president of KFD, other office bearers and hundreds of KFD activists were present on the occasion.
