Food festival is one of the best opportunity to propagate Asian food to our Arab hosts and also to many other foreign nationalities that exist particularly in Dammam and the rest of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. From all the photographs that you have published, we could hardly notice any non-Asian participation. Inviting the Arabs and the rest of the International Community in Dammam requires special effort and determination. but apparently there might have had special reasons for the Organizers to focus on the Asian community for the Asian Food festival.Let's remember one thing - The Asians, specially the Indians have landed throughout the Persian Gulf region have established themselves well with Indian grocery shops, Restaurants and even Hotels. Almost every Arab household as well as every Hotel and Restaurant in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf Indian cooks, butlers and waiters have always dominated the work force, and the Indians have always proved themselves as very trustworthy people in all the domestic services, specially the food.We would have been happy to see a large congregation of Arab men and women, as well as many Europeans and Americans for a grand opportunity such as the MASA Food Festival. This is just a simple observation we thought we would share with you.
