Mangalore, Mar 25: Big 92.7 FM one of the city's popular FM stations in another category-first initiative, launched the music of the much-awaited Kannada film 'Aramane' on Monday March 24, informs a press release. The movie 'Aramane' is directed by Nagashekar, and features renowned actor and multiple award winner Golden Star Ganesh.
The music launch saw a live – radio launch across three stations in Mangalore, Bangalore and Mysore on the breakfast show – 'Big Kudla' which is hosted by RJ Sumesh. In fact, the breakfast show here in the city hosted by RJ Sumesh saw some great interaction and fun on the show, including high listener interactivity, informed the release.
There was also an interactive and live session with the director Nagashekar and actor Ganesh at its Mumbai launch. BIG 92.7 FM has been granted the music rights exclusively even before it can be heard anywhere else.
The protagonist in the emotionally charged movie 'Aramane' happens to be a photographer who provides complete entertainment. A role in-fact tailor-made character for superstar Ganesh, who has a huge fan following not only in Karnataka but across the country after his super hit films 'Mungaru Malle' and 'Galipata'.
There are extensive on-air plans afoot for the music promotion of 'Aramane' to generate an appropriate buzz by the exclusive radio partner BIG 92.7 FM. It started the promotion of the movie by premiering the music beginning from 24 March for a period of 15 days on air exclusively across all three cities in the state. The station will also feature interviews with the cast and crew of the movie and also run contests for its listeners across the city, Bangalore, and Mysore.
Sunil Kumaran, BIG 92.7 FM cluster head - Karnataka and Kerala informed that their team was extremely excited to collaborate with one of the most anticipated movies of year 2008. Their effort is to create exciting content around the theme of the movie which would generate listener’s interest, thereby promoting the movie far more effectively.
