Bengal Governor cheerful post surgery


Kolkata, May 9 (IANS): West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi is stable and cheerful, two days after he underwent a minor surgery to stop nose bleeding, the hospital said on Tuesday.

Tripathi, 82, was admitted to the Belle Vue Clinic on Sunday after he bled from the nose. He underwent the surgery soon after.

"The condition of ... Tripathi is hemodynamically stable and he is cheerful," the Clinic's CEO, P. Tondon, said in a statement.
