Mumbai, May 24: The fourteenth annual festival of Vitala Rakumai temple was held on Sunday May 21 with the blessings of Yathivarya Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamy in the presence of devotees.

Special devotion was held at the temple since morning.

A special programme, Dhatri Blood Stem Cell Donors Registry camp was held as part of the celebration. The intention was to identify blood donors with suitable stem cells (necessary for bone marrow transplant) for those patients suffering from blood cancer. Nearly a hundred people took part in the programme. The math administration hopes to hold similar programmes in the future.
